Africa Energy Market Place Round III
The AEMP establishes a high-level dialogue with a view to identify, understand and agree upon what the key challenges and solutions are to move the agenda forward. Five focus countries were selected for the first edition of the AEMP: Ethiopia, Cote d’Ivoire, Zambia, Egypt, and Nigeria. Two additional countries were selected for the second edition of AEMP which convened in Johannesburg, South Africa during the Africa Investment Forum: Tanzania and South Africa. Key highlights from the AEMP Round 2 held concurrently with the groundbreaking inaugural Africa Investment Forum, in November 2018 in Johannesburg are below:

Among the five new countries chosen to participate in the third edition of AEMP, is Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, and Madagascar. We look forward to your participation in the AEMP, together with other stakeholders in the energy sector, including the ministers of energy and finance. We also envisage the participation of major development partners and senior level representation from project developers and private sector investors.
